The Miracle of Apple Cider Vinegar

I love making a tonic out of raw, organic Apple Cider Vinegar. Not only is it great for kidney detoxification and an appetite suppressant, It is really refreshing during these summer months and a great substitute for sugar-laden lemonade:

Add 2 Tablespoon raw, organic Apple Cider Vinegar to 8-12 oz alkaline water. Add organic lemon juice, cinnamon, cayenne, ginger, and a dash of green stevia. A splash of unsweetened cranberry is a nice addition as well.

Not only does is taste great but in additional to the above,  raw organic Apple Cider Vinegar is also highly beneficial for the body as it contains the following:

  • Ash which alkalizes the body for a balanced PH state.  An alkaline body is pertinent for proper mineral absorption, and also inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria and yeast which can compromise our immune system and digestion.
  • Pectin which helps regulate blood pressure, lower insulin levels, and reduce bad cholesterol.
  • Acetic Acid which slows the digestion of starch and can lower the rise in glucose that happens after meals.  This is why it is considered great for diabetics and people with insulin-resistance and hypoglycemia. It basically regulates blood sugar.
  • Malic Acid, a great detoxifier for it has amazing anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties which aids in the rebuilding of a healthy intestinal tract and facilitates proper digestion.
  • Calcium for strong bones and teeth.
  • Potassium which helps with hydration, and is key for building muscle, transmitting nerve impulses and maintaining electrical conductivity in the brain to improve memory and learning.  It also enhances metabolism, extracts energy out of nutrient consumption and helps with anxiety and stress.

Even though our bodies work better in an alkalized state, a common misconception occurs when people try to neutralize stomach acid when experiencing heartburn, acid reflux, or indigestion by taking antacids.  These drugs actually do more damage as the cause of these disorders occur when there is not enough acid in the stomach, our only naturally acidic organ. The stomach is forced to churn more violently to make the best use of its limited acid during these times of deficiency, which in turn causes pressure and back flows of the existing acid.  Organic, raw ACV actually replenishes the stomach to its acidic state and reduces the occurrence of these symptoms.

Studies have also shown that it aids in weight loss as it breaks down fats so they are utilized instead of stored, it helps relieve joint and muscle pain, plus it is known to regulate the bowels which aids in further detoxification

Externally it is known to improve the skin by improving its texture and complexion and also helps to remove blemishes.

There are so many other known uses for raw, organic ACV such as a doggie flea bath, house cleaner and disinfectant, dental stain remover, sunburn reliever, and even a hair rinse.

Explore for yourself how many benefits you can find with organic, raw Apple Cider Vinegar and enjoy the delicious tonic!
